We’re here for you, every hour of every day (even holidays!), with no exceptions. Our staff is available in the office from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours staffing coordinators handle orders or customer service calls at other times.

What kind of experience do I need to be an effective temporary employee?
To succeed as a temporary employee, you must have the experience, maturity and discipline to step into an unfamiliar job and setting, immediately assume a workload, and develop relationships with the other healthcare professionals in your assigned facility. In addition, ATC Healthcare Services will require that you have a specified number of years of experience in your chosen field since the company you’re assigned to is already short-staffed and supervision may be minimal.
What types of requirements exist to become a Healthcare Associate with ATC Healthcare Services?

- Each candidate completes a comprehensive application and interview.

- Each individual’s license, CPR and other certifications are verified.

Where will I be working?
Can I work full time?
You can work as little or as much as you want. However, once you commit to an assignment, you are requested to fulfill the terms of that assignment.
How little can I work if I work part-time?
Will I get the assignments I want?
You will be offered every assignment that matches your qualifications, and you can decide whether you want to accept the assignment.
What happens if I don't like my assignment?
You do not have to accept the assignment. We will call you back with other needs. We do ask that once you commit to an assignment that you fulfill the terms of that assignment, including staying for the duration of your shift or contract.

Can I pick up shifts to fit my schedule?
Yes. ATC Healthcare places nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals on contract, temp-to-perm, per-diem, travel, and direct hire assignments that vary in location, time, and responsibilities.
What shifts are available?
Our shifts vary depending on the facility. The majority of our shifts are 8, 10, or 12 hours.
Am I under any obligation to you after submitting an application?
No. You are under no obligation by applying. After you submit an application, a recruiter will contact you and start the placement process.
Is there a fee for me to work with ATC Healthcare?
Unlike some healthcare staffing agencies, there’s never a fee to work with ATC.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. You can choose a situation that fits you. ATC offers temp-to-perm, per diem, direct placement, and short- and long-term contracts.
Who is my employer ATC Healthcare Services or the company where I actually work?
ATC Healthcare Services will be your employer. You will not be considered an employee of any company to which you are assigned.
When and how will I be paid?
That is up to you. We offer daily and weekly options. Whether you want to get paid the same day as your shift, weekly, or any time in between, it is all up to you. Tired of waiting for your paycheck to clear or waiting in long lines at the bank? We offer a variety of payment options including paychecks, direct deposit and a global cash Visa card.
What about overtime and holiday pay?
We pay overtime if you work more than 40 hours in one week. Working on holidays usually earns overtime pay, although some facilities have limitations on holiday pay.
What will my salary be?
At ATC Healthcare, we make sure that we have some of the most competitive pay rates in the industry. Pay rates vary by the job type, facility and specialty.
